Why don't some marriages work,
from an astrological point of view?
Whether it is a love marriage or an arranged
one, when two charts are matched, we tend to understand as to whether there is
physical, emotional, psychological, spiritual and intellectual harmony.
It’s difficult to find all factors in sync. So,
any kind of relationship will work if the above factors agree and will not work
if the above factors are in conflict.
How will be the spouse of a person with Rahu in the 7th house, Venus in Virgo
in the 4th house in a Gemini ascendant man?
The 7th house from Gemini falls
in the sign of Sagittarius and the lord of this sign is Jupiter.
The placement of Jupiter is
important to know.
Rahu in the 7th equally means
that Ketu is placed in the ascendant.
Rahu may give you a materialistic
person with lot of aims in life to achieve.
Better to get the charts matched
before finalizing the alliance.
Having Saturn in the first house, can I marry a Manglik having Mangal in the
eighth house?
The criteria of Saturn in the ascendant
and the placement of Mars in the 8th house is not enough to confirm marriage.
Both the charts have to be seen and matched comprehensively to understand their compatibility.
What if our Moon
sign doesn't get matched (Taurus+Aquarius), but our Sun sign matches well
(Aries+Gemini)? How will it affect our relationship?
In many cases it does not match and that
does not mean a couple cannot get married.
The point is simple. Both the horoscopes
have to be holistically matched from Ascendant, Sun and Moon. Also, the dasha
periods and the planetary placements have to be correlated to check the
sustenance of marriage.
Just by matching the mutual placement of
Moon or even Sun, a match cannot be finalized.
Sir can u pls match kundalis?
Yes, I do match horoscopes for
understand their compatibility.
Usually people do not give much
importance to this part of astrology.
As knowing a person is important before
marriage, it is also important to understand what the person withholds within himself/herself
while they are in pursuit to get married.
At a higher level of matching,
One needs to understand as to whether
the couple are compatible to a subtle level.
The factors that have to
match/compatible (other that the traditional matching) are:
P : Physical
E : Emotional
P : Psychological
S : Spiritual
I : Intellectual
Now, to do this level of matching one
needs time and since this is got done by only a few, this type of matching is
now-a-days very rarely practiced.
What makes a 100% perfect astrological
match?
Each person is born with a unique
aspiration which will satisfy his/her quest. Hence there is nothing called as a
perfect match in this world.
The best thing when two unique
and different individuals come together and understand each other’s quest and
merge to make another unique one.
Both strive to achieve it
together and that gives a higher level of satisfaction and peace.
Do you think muhurat is important
for a wedding?
Human beings elect auspicious timings for
auspicious moments of life. There are 16 important occasions that a Hindu
performs in his life time and they are known as the shodasha samskaras.
Beginning from marriage, naming, cradling,
annaprashna (first food), aksharabyasa (introduction to teaching), and so on
till death.
Each of these occasions are sacred and rituals
are performed to invoke the blessings of elders and God.
With this importance each person would want the
auspicious ceremony go unhindered and with ease and hence would choose an
auspicious time for it which is known as Muhurtha.
This time would be mundanely good so that
weather would be pleasant and the planetary positions will be favourable for
the concerned person and his family.
Now-a-days marriage and married life is given
too much of importance due to its vulnerability to sustain and hence a good
muhurtha is required to fortify its bonding positively.
How do we find a karmic
relationship or past life karmic connection when we match two horoscopes? Do we
check D1 to D9 or D1 to D1 charts?
To find Karmic or Cosmic
relationship between two charts we need to do superimposition.
For example, the 7th house of any
chart will represent the spouse of that person and hence considering the 7th
house as the ascendant of the spouse we need to superimpose the chart over the
other charts ascendant.
The similarities and differences
have to be mapped along with the aspects and conjunctions.
It is a tough method and would
require a class kind of a set up to make students understand better.
The planetary period and their
lordships and their positions have to be matched after superimposing the
charts.
We can understand the intricacies
when the same is done with the divisional charts.
Can Nadi Dosha be ignored?
There are three types of Nadis: Adi, Madhya and
Antya Nadis.
When two people having the similar nadis marry
they both carry this dosha and in the long run might suffer from it.
There might be a break up in the relationship
or the couple might get separated due to other factors like job etc.
The longevity is also a factor which is
discussed in the classics with regard to Nadi dosha.
When the marriage matching is done every
astrologer will be verifying for a long standing and stable marriage.
Hence will avoid a match with nadi dosha.
Are marriages prohibited in Vedic
astrology when Jupiter transits Leo (सिंहस्थ बृहस्पति) and
Capricorn?
This is not a clear guideline. But, some of the
texts have opined about planets being placed in certain Rasis (Signs) as not
good for getting into marriage.
Here in this case Jupiter the planet which
signifies wisdom and knowledge is placed in the sign of Leo (the 5th from Aries
- kalapurusha). Jupiter is said to be very well placed in this sign and
actually both Sun (the lord of Leo) and Jupiter are close friends due to their
similarities.
But, why should a marriage not be conducted
when Jupiter is placed in Leo is a query which is not clearly answered till
date.
In the other case Jupiter in Capricorn gets
debilitated and hence deemed weak. The time when Jupiter is transiting
Capricorn it is said that people will lose their strength over their wisdom and
may take lenient decisions and since marriage is considered to be the most
important moment in one’s life, wisdom is regarded in great esteem.
What are the benefits of 36/36
points in Kundli matching?
When full points are achieved in
the matching of charts it is clear that there will be intellectual, physical
and emotional compatibility between the boy and the girl.
This is a traditional method
which involves only the position of Moon from both charts. The points do not
consider the other 8 planetary positions, ascendant and the planetary period.
This is quite incomplete since we
cannot only rely on one planets position (Moon’s position).
We need to do the same with all
the other planets and analyse both the charts separately and also together to
understand the negatives and the positives.
